Racking Dismantling & Buyback

Ogoldy handles racking dismantling and buyback for warehouse and retail systems, including pallet rack dismantling and shelving removal. Layout, height, quantity, condition and access determine the dismantling plan and whether racks are best reused, liquidated or routed as scrap.

Scope

What can be included

The final BOQ is validated against site conditions, access, quantities and the intended asset outcome.

01Pallet and shelving racks
02Mobile compactors
03Component segregation and bundling
04Relocation, sale or scrap route

Scope clarity

Assumptions, access and exclusions are resolved before deployment.

Asset control

Reusable, saleable, scrap and disposal streams are separated.

Close-out

Movement, handover and agreed documentation complete the scope.

Execution approach

Survey and dismantling inputs

Share the rack layout, system, height, photos, approximate quantities and site access. Pallet racks and retail shelving may need different dismantling and loading plans. For pallet racks, shelving and similar systems, the layout and completeness of components matter to both dismantling effort and reuse value.

Segregate, bundle and move

Components are dismantled and grouped for practical loading. Reusable systems may be moved for redeployment or assessed for rack liquidation or buyback; damaged or incomplete material can follow a separate scrap route.

Commercial assessment

Rack buyback or disposal depends on completeness, condition, quantity, location, dismantling effort and market demand. No purchase value is assumed before review.

If the requirement includes wider warehouse or factory clearance beyond the racks, see Warehouse & Factory Dismantling.
